Tenugui – Solid Colours

Tenugui are hand dyed which may cause the colour to run upon initial wash. Machine/hand wash separately in cold water. Do not bleach. Avoid soaking. Dry in the shade. The short edge of tenugui cloths are deliberately left raw and unfinished. This helps it dry quickly and is a sign of its handmade quality. Fraying will gradually lessen over several wash cycles.
