Characterized by clean, gentle curves, the Kaoru Bowl is made by hand at Koshun kiln in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, modelled after a traditional copper medicine can. The rim of the bowl spreads out softly, making it easy to drink directly out of. The bowl is easy to hold with one hand because your fingers fit comfortably on the base, and although it can hold a large amount of food, it is not too heavy. The soft bluish white glaze adds a calming warmth to your place settings, while the simple design fits in with any style. A perfect bowl for everyday use.
Each bowl is shaped by hand and made one by one, making production numbers limited.
