Known not only for excellent heat conducting properties, by its nature, copper also offers unique antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits. By improving the quality of the water contained within, copper is easily one of the most suitable production materials for designing a perfect kettle.
The AZMAYA Copper Kettle is lightweight yet durable, perfect for daily handling use, even with a full 2ℓ capacity.
Handmade in Niigata prefecture, the quality craftsmanship & functionality blend together perfectly with AZMAYA’s always elegant design.
The AZMAYA Copper Kettle is intentionally left uncoated: open to copper’s natural chemical oxidation. The finish & colour will transform over time to a stunningly deep rust-like patina, a process accelerated by extended handling and use.
With appropriate care, this beautiful kettle will provide an owner’s lifetime of quality service and aesthetic pleasure.
Dia 20.0cm x H 15.0cm (w/ handle) 24cm
The exterior surface of each kettle is protected with a wax coating when new. As the coating wears off, the shiny golden colour of kettle gradually oxidizes and grows deeper with usage and time.
Not suitable for use with IH stoves.
To clean, please dry wipe using a soft cloth.
Cleaning will help change the colour more consistently over time.
Although spots or darkening gradually become a part of character, if you are concerned about dirt, please lightly polish with a sponge using gentle detergent. Dry thoroughly.
Please note that polishing too hard may cause scratches or discolouration on the surface.
