A natural fragrance inspired by the ancient forest in Japan.
Essential oil from trees nurtured in the rich natural landscape of Kyushu is carefully blended with finely ground Kusunoki camphor wood powder, each piece thoughtfully kneaded by hand.
The essential oil extracted from this tree carries a rich, deep fragrance that evokes the quiet stillness of a forest. Its aroma brings a sense of calm and gentle comfort, as if standing peacefully among the trees.
For centuries, trees have accompanied human life, offering comfort and healing to body and mind. Among their gifts, scent speaks quietly yet profoundly to our senses. This incense is crafted from rare tree essential oils, natural wood powders, and precious resins that can only be harvested in limited quantities. No artificial fragrances are used — only the pure, natural aroma of the Japanese forest itself. The result is a completely new type of incense that evokes the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
*The incense sticks come beautifully wrapped in a white paper carefully stored in a kiri (paulownia) wood box that is perfect for storage.
*This Kousaido incense will not work with Kungyokudo incense holder due to the size of the incense stick.
