Inspired by traditional farmer's clothing, these Shangri-La wrapped pants combine artisanal craftsmanship with a relaxed, sculptural silhouette.
Designed with a generous boxy shape that wraps around the body, the pants feature an adjustable waist tie that can be fastened in various ways from the back, allowing you to create different fits and expressions. Hand-sewn embroidery stitches appear throughout the garment, while a sashiko-stitched circle logo on the back adds a subtle artisanal detail.
Crafted from hand-spun and hand-woven organic cotton khadi using traditional Indian techniques, the fabric is exceptionally soft, lightweight, and breathable. The organic cotton used is MCU-5, a native Indian variety valued for its natural character and comfort.
The garment is dyed entirely by hand using natural indigo, with all materials used in the dyeing process derived from natural sources. During washing, locally grown soap nuts are used as a natural detergent, reflecting Cosmic Wonder's commitment to traditional craftsmanship and environmentally conscious production. As each piece is handmade in India using natural materials and dyes, slight variations in colour, texture, and stitching are to be expected and are part of its unique character and beauty.
