Inspired by traditional farmer shirts, this Shangri-La blouse combines artisanal craftsmanship with a relaxed, contemporary silhouette.
Crafted from hand-spun and hand-woven organic cotton khadi, the fabric is made using MCU-5 cotton, a native Indian variety prized for its natural character and softness. Lightweight and breathable, it allows air to circulate comfortably, making it ideal for warmer seasons.
Gentle gathers beneath the front yoke create a soft drape and generous volume, while the wide silhouette offers an easy, relaxed fit. The sleeves are cut with extra fullness to enhance comfort and airflow. Hand-sewn embroidery stitches appear throughout the garment, adding subtle details that celebrate the beauty of handmade work.
The neckline features a back opening finished with a fabric-covered button, while the distinctive shoulder construction creates a unique appearance from both the front and back. A sashiko-stitched circle logo on the back adds a quiet artisanal touch.
The garment is dyed entirely by hand using natural indigo, with all materials used in the dyeing process derived from natural sources. During washing, locally grown soap nuts are used as a natural detergent, reflecting Cosmic Wonder's commitment to traditional craftsmanship and environmentally conscious production.
