Based on the shapes and styles of traditional Japanese tableware, this piece has been created as a modern pattern that fits a variety of contemporary dining styles. It works beautifully as a single plate, but can also be combined freely in sets to create a vibrant table for larger gatherings.
Its elongated shape is perfect for grilled fish, sushi, or sashimi, and can also be used to serve small side dishes or a variety of appetizers.
With the clean, simple forms characteristic of Yumiko Iihoshi Porcelain, these pieces expand the enjoyment of meals through how they are combined and used. Even the same dish can look different depending on the plate, offering new possibilities and pleasures in everyday dining.
Each piece is finished by hand, so the colour, shading, and texture vary slightly, and there may be minor differences in capacity and size.
