Cosmic Wonder’s signature wrap pants, made from 100% organic cotton. Designed as a unisex free-size piece, both the waist and length can be adjusted freely to suit your own style and silhouette. Finished with slit pockets on both sides and Cosmic Wonder’s signature sashiko-stitched circle logo at the back right side.
Inspired by traditional ethnic garments, these wrap pants feature long waist ties that can be twisted, crossed, wrapped, or folded in multiple ways. Without hardware or fixed fastenings, the pants are secured entirely with fabric ties, allowing the waist to be styled freely, tied at the front or back, finished with a ribbon knot or simple wrap. Depending on how they are worn, the silhouette and overall impression shift naturally, offering a personal and expressive way of dressing regardless of gender.
Cut in a relaxed wide straight silhouette, they move comfortably with the body while maintaining a refined structure. The piece-dyeing process creates subtle variations in tone and depth, giving each pair a softly nuanced character.
Crafted from rare Suvin cotton broadcloth, the fabric has a silk-like softness, supple texture, and gentle natural lustre. Grown in southern India, Suvin cotton is an exceptional extra-long staple cotton produced in limited quantities and prized for its smooth touch and lightweight feel. Breathable and comfortable throughout the seasons, these pants are designed for effortless everyday wear.
Ryukyu Indigo Dye
Ryukyu indigo dyeing is an ancient Okinawan dyeing tradition using Yama-ai, a perennial plant from the Acanthaceae family, as its raw material. Harvested during both summer and winter, the branches and leaves are soaked in water and naturally fermented, creating a rich, mud-like indigo dye.
Each garment is repeatedly immersed in the indigo vat—approximately 15 to 30 times—to gradually build layers of colour. This meticulous process produces a vivid purple-blue hue with remarkable depth and nuance.
Over time, the colour continues to evolve, developing a unique patina and richness through wear. No two pieces are exactly alike, making each garment quietly one of a kind.
