The My Mug series by Yumiko Iihoshi was created with the idea that a mug is a deeply personal object, one that reflects its owner and becomes a cherished part of everyday life.
"Anton is an editor who works at the same publishing house as Lucy. Every morning, upon arriving at work, he takes a moment to slowly enjoy a café au lait made with dark-roast coffee in this mug".
Developed in collaboration with kilns across Japan, the My Mug series celebrates the distinctive materials and techniques of each region, resulting in mugs with their own individual character.
Each mug comes with its own name and story. We hope you will find one that feels like a friend or trusted companion, becoming a familiar and much-loved part of your daily rituals.
Every piece is finished by hand, so variations in colour, texture, size, and capacity are natural and contribute to its individual character.
