With its round shape reminiscent of cantaloupe, this is a stunning copper kettle for your kitchen. The hand-hammered texture adds not only the rich texture on the appearance but also offers excellent heat-conducting properties, keeping your tea or coffee warm for an extended time. The narrow spout makes it easy to direct water flow. The beautifully curved thin handle is pleasant to hold, but please make sure to use a mitten or cloth to pick it up as it can get very hot on the stove.
Copper will develop rich patina. With age and use, the colour will deepen and develop a warm and deep texture. To help preserve the original colour, make sure to wipe off any water after use, and occasionally apply a mix of vinegar and salt to a soft cloth to clean. The inside can be cleaned by boiling baking soda and water in it for about 2-3 minutes and then wiped clean.

When copper products are intentionally left uncoated, they are open to copper’s natural chemical oxidation. The finish & colour will transform over time to a stunningly deep rust-like patina, a process accelerated by extended handling and use.
