Entirely handblown in Osaka, Japan, Fresco creates reliable and purposeful glass products designed to encourage new relationships between the user and their environment, with the belief that each item will become an extension of the users own expression. Just as water only becomes visible when light reflects on it, so does Fresco glassware, creating an aura in the air by reflecting the light, revealing its true colours, and peacefully making itself known in a given space.
The word “Nebbia” means “fog” in Italian, and this is reflected in the smoky colouring used in this line. The slow gradient of light on top to dark on the bottom adds a sense of grounding to the delicate round shape of the glass, which is pleasant to hold in the hand. Not only can this glass be used for wine and other drinks, but is also perfect to serve various desserts in; like ice cream, gelato, parfait, and smoothies.
Because Fresco’s works are all handmade one-by-one, there may be variations in colour, shape, and size from what is pictured. These differences contribute to the individual personality of each piece, and are meant to be enjoyed.
Please note: Since the material is not heat-resistant, please avoid microwave ovens and dishwashers.
