This series was produced in collaboration with an old-established glassware maker Kimura Glass for a line of porcelain products simply named “Dishes”. Created with great consideration to the slight change in the angle and size of the rim’s rise, it can assist various expressions in the prepared dishes. With a white rim used as the only accent to perfectly frame your food, the atmosphere of your table can completely alter depending on the combination of shape and colour, even though it has a simple form. We simply believe that a subtle detail like this can add to the joy of daily tableware.
The deep rim makes these plates ideal for pasta, curry, and other saucy entrees, in addition to your favourite desserts and other snacks.
Available in four sizes;
– plate 180 –
A compact size great for side dishes and desserts.
– plate 200 –
Also ideal for side dishes and breakfast, toast or cakes.
– plate 220 –
As a main plate for one person. It is a convenient size that can be used in the morning, day and night.
– plate 230 –
With its deep shape, it is excellent for serving a wide range of main dishes, soups, curries, pasta and salads.
Note: To prevent damage and reduce waste, online orders are not shipped in original Yumiko Iihoshi boxes unless requested.
