A lovely size for serving desserts or using as a small side plate. Despite its compact size, the gently raised rim adds a little depth, making it versatile enough for serving an assortment of side dishes. A playful piece that invites you to discover different ways to use it beyond a simple serving plate.
This series was produced in collaboration with an old-established glassware maker Kimura Glass for a line of porcelain products simply named “Dishes”. Created with great consideration to the slight change in the angle and size of the rim’s rise, it can assist various expressions in the prepared dishes. With a white rim used as the only accent to perfectly frame your food, the atmosphere of your table can completely alter depending on the combination of shape and colour, even though it has a simple form. The deep rim makes these plates ideal for pasta, curry, and other saucy entrees, in addition to your favourite desserts and other snacks. A subtle detail can add to the joy of everyday dining experiences.
