Evolved from the idea of repurposing and upcycling aluminium trays previously rejected for small scratches incurred during the manufacturing process, yumiko iihoshi has developed this range of beautiful and durable aluminium trays that hold up to modern day use.
Maintaining the lightness of conventional aluminium, each tray is coated with environmentally friendly materials for extra durability and the muted colour palette created for this line fits in perfectly with the porcelain dishes the company is known for.
The small holes in the handle and the mark of the logo engraved on the round tray, which are created in the coating process, indicate that this is a new product that adopts the sustainability concept of yumiko iihoshi porcelain.
Use the small round tray as a coaster for cups and glasses, as a tray under small flower pots or candles, or as a spot to put your keys and small accessories. A perfect size for any location in the home.
The large tray can be used to serve beer and snacks, or for tea and cakes. A useful item in the kitchen and dining room.
