Niko paints using mineral pigments. She loves wolves and the indigenous art and culture of the north. Based out of Hayama, Kanagawa prefecture, she works on her mineral paintings and her exhibitions in Japan while studying folklore, mythology, and languages.All artworks are one-of-a-kind originals and available for purchase druing this pop-up. Artist BioBorn in Japan in 2002, Niko began painting with mineral stone watercolor at nineteen. Inspired by wolves and the Indigenous cultures of the northern regions, her work carries a quiet reverence for nature, memory, and unseen worlds. Based in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, she creates mineral pigment paintings and exhibits across Japan while studying folklore, mythology, and languages.
