A pencil box is like a tiny desk holding your tools and everything you need within reach. The Postalco Tool Box sits securely and stable when opened, allowing you to get work done wherever you are with whatever you need.
Holds up to 36 pencils, fits a variety of scissors, rulers and sticky notes comfortably. When empty, it can fold down to the thickness of about 1 cm.
Made from vegetable tanned cowhide leather and pressed cotton, the same material used to make tent fabric. The toolbox has a light water resistant treatment, but is not waterproof. Slubs and irregularities in the fibres are natural and add to the overall character of each piece.
With use the shine will mellow and surface scratches picked up along the way will get worked in. The color will also deepen with use.
If your wallet gets wet, pat dry with a soft cloth to absorb any liquid. With strong rubbing the color may come off leaving light spots. Please shade dry in a well ventilated area. If placed near air conditioners or heaters the item may warp.

Born out of a passion for the beauty of everyday objects, Postalco found its start in Brooklyn, New York, making notebooks and document holders. Since moving their base of operations to Tokyo 20 years ago, the line has expanded to include wallets, pens, bags and other items. Combining utility and functionality with understated beauty, Postalco effectively improves our relationships with these objects by inviting us to see them as “collaborators” in our lives instead of as throwaway items.
With a solid dedication to finding new ways to apply Japanese craft to daily life, Postalco creates items that are meant to be used by all walks of life – young and old, male or female – a practice that results in building more meaningful interactions with others and with our surroundings.
