Born out of a passion for the beauty of everyday objects, Postalco found its start in Brooklyn, New York, making notebooks and document holders. Since moving their base of operations to Tokyo 15 years ago, the line has expanded to include wallets, pens, bags and other items. Combining utility and functionality with understated beauty, Postalco effectively improves our relationships with these objects by inviting us to see them as “collaborators” in our lives instead of as throwaway items.
With a solid dedication to finding new ways to apply Japanese craft to daily life, Postalco creates items that are meant to be used by all walks of life – young and old, male or female – a practice that results in building more meaningful interactions with others and with our surroundings.
