Gekkoso’s Iro sketchbook offers a smooth plain paper suitable for writing and drawing. ‘Iro (色)’ means colour and the paper weight is the same as Usu sketchbooks, extremely light and silky. Outstanding compatibility with Gekkoso’s 8B pencils, mechanical pencils, or any water-based pens. The colourful paper is fun to use, ideal for your own scrapbook, writing a quick letter to someone special, or even paper crafts.

Beautiful shop name Gekkoso means “Moonlight” in Japanese. It comes from a poem gifted to the shop by the famous husband and wife poets Tekkan and Akiko Yosano,
“You walked by from the moon in the sky, shining day and night.”
