Gekkoso’s Atsu sketchbook offers a smooth white plain paper suitable for drawing. ‘Atsu (厚)’ means thick and the paper weight is similar to standard sketchbook paper. Excellent compatibility with any colour pencils, pens, or any painting materials. Useful as a scrapbook as well as for notes and sketches.

Beautiful shop name Gekkoso means “Moonlight” in Japanese. It comes from a poem gifted to the shop by the famous husband and wife poets Tekkan and Akiko Yosano,
“You walked by from the moon in the sky, shining day and night.”
