Known as one of the locations of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan, this small round teapot is carefully handmade by the skilled craftsmen in the city of Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. Using the traditional Japanese pottery technique of Tokoname ware, this teapot is lightweight, unglazed in matte black, and each offers a superfine perforated ceramic strainer built inside to help enhance the true flavours of your preferred tea, whether it be Japanese, Chinese or English. The more tea brewed the better it will bring out the pure flavour of the leaves. These teapots are also designed to better maintain high heat retention compared to porcelain teapots, allowing the flavourful tea experience to last longer.
