Round Teapot with Back Handle
Made in Japan
Known as one of the locations of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan, the AZMAYA Oval and Round Teapots are handmade in the city of Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture.
Using the traditional Japanese pottery technique, Tokoname ware, these elegant teapots are lightweight, unglazed in matte black, and each offers a superfine perforated ceramic strainer to help enhance the natural flavours of your preferred tea, whether it be Japanese, Chinese or English. The more tea brewed the better it will bring out the pure flavour of the leaves.
These AZMAYA teapots are also designed to better maintain high heat retention compared to porcelain teapots.
In place of a side handle style, the back handle delivers an effortless experience for both right or left-handed users.
