Often referred as “Mamezara (豆皿)” in Japanese, “mame”, meaning beans, describes something small and these little plates are great for serving something small and adding a touch of flavour to the meals. Also recommended for keeping tiny accessories or using as an incense stand holder.
Each is shaped in a Japanese traditional motif to celebrate seasons or any special occasions.
